T-Shirt Wars

I also found this while looking at different stop motion techniques and this is very similar to the Evian advert that i love .... i think that is why i enjoyed this one so much! I think this one works well as it incorporates humour and the animation on the t-shirts and between the actors is wonderful (again the use of human and animation interaction that i keep picking up on). After watching the making of i found out it took 2 days and a lot of t-shirts (didn't state how many i was a little disappointing!), i also found that as one member of the team was taking the photo another member was taking a photo so that on their mac the actors could see their onion skin to show them exactly what their last movement was to keep the animations fluidity precise. I do think with a stop motion animation that a slight imperfection is nice as it shows the charm of stop motion because of the amount of effort and time that goes it. My animation could benefit from using the onion skin but i don't have the software to do it at home so i need to carefully plan out exactly how many frames i will need for each sequence to portray the correct speed without the shadowing that is occurring at the moment at the start of the animation.
